Incommunication Signal Cheat Sheet
Agree on these before the bomb timer starts.
Use this Signal Cheat Sheet with your duo before queuing Incommunication on Roblox. The Mute role cannot speak — every solution step must become a gesture the Deaf player reads and converts into speech for the Blind operator. Random improvisation fails under timer pressure. Copy the baseline signals below, add two custom marks for modules you see often, and keep the sheet visible during practice sessions.
Core Mute gestures
| Gesture | Meaning | Deaf speaks (example) |
|---|---|---|
| Open palm forward | Confirm / yes / proceed | ”Confirm.” |
| Closed fist | Stop / wrong / cancel | ”Stop. Reset.” |
| Fingers 1–5 | Index number (wire, button, step) | “Wire three.” |
| Flat hand sweep left | Direction: left side of panel | ”Left side.” |
| Flat hand sweep right | Direction: right side of panel | ”Right side.” |
| Tap side of head | Repeat last instruction | ”Repeat last.” |
| Arms crossed | Module complete | ”Module clear. Next.” |
| Point down + tap | Press / activate | ”Press button.” |
| Scissor motion | Cut action | ”Cut wire.” |
| Circular finger motion | Turn dial / rotate | ”Turn dial.” |

Deaf command template
Always use the same grammar:
Action + target + attribute + position
Examples:
- “Cut wire two, right side, yellow.”
- “Press button one, top row, blue.”
- “Turn dial, three steps, clockwise.”
Blind must repeat verbatim before Deaf says confirm. Full loop: How to Defuse.
Blind repeat-back script
Blind answers with identical nouns and numbers:
- Deaf: “Cut wire four, left, red.”
- Blind: “Cut wire four, left, red.”
- Deaf: “Confirm.”
- Blind performs one action.
If words differ, Deaf calls repeat — never confirm.

Panic vocabulary (under 30 seconds)
When timer drops, use only these:
- Reset — freeze all hands.
- Repeat last — Blind restates last confirmed step.
- Delta only — Mute encodes what changed, not full module.
- Stop — Blind freezes immediately.
Details: Communication Strategies.
Pre-round 30-second ritual
- Both players open this sheet.
- Mute demonstrates core five gestures.
- Deaf speaks each back without looking at panel.
- Blind repeats a fake command drill.
- Queue via Official Links.
Role-specific deep dives
- Mute Role Guide — encoding discipline.
- Deaf Role Guide — camera and speech.
- Blind Role Guide — execution nerves.
Practice drills with this sheet
Run these five-minute drills in lobby before queuing:
- Mirror drill — Deaf calls random steps; Mute gestures without looking at a solution sheet.
- Repeat police — Blind intentionally mis-repeats once; Deaf must catch before confirm.
- Timer drill — Same vocabulary with a 30-second countdown; drop all non-core gestures.
- Mobile drill — Test gesture size on phone cameras; enlarge until Deaf reads reliably.
- Custom slot test — Use only Custom A and B for one fake module to validate duo additions.
Log which drill failed in your session debrief and fix that signal before the next queue. Pair with Getting Started for first-match expectations.
Print tip
Use browser print on this page before LAN sessions — physical reference beats alt-tabbing mid-defusal on single-monitor setups.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many signals do we need minimum?
At least confirm, stop, numbers 1–5, repeat, and module complete — seven core gestures before your first serious round.
Can we change signals mid-session?
Only between rounds. Mid-defusal changes cause catastrophic misreads.
Does this replace voice chat setup?
No — pair gestures with Roblox voice for Deaf to Blind speech. See Voice Chat Setup guide.
Where is the interactive cheat sheet?
